DaVinci Resolve is the fastest-growing video editing software in Pakistan — free, powerful, and GPU-hungry. The ThinkPad P1 Gen 2 at 175,000 PKR has the Quadro T2000 with OptiX support — the only laptop under 200k in Pakistan that can use DaVinci Resolve Studio's AI features (Magic Mask, Speed Warp). DaVinci Resolve Features That Need OptiX
- Magic Mask: AI-powered subject isolation. Requires OptiX. MacBook cannot use this feature — it runs on CPU only (3-5x slower).
- Speed Warp: AI-powered slow-motion interpolation. Requires OptiX. MacBook cannot use this.
- Face Refinement: AI-powered facial feature enhancement. Requires OptiX.
- Super Scale: AI-powered upscaling. Requires OptiX.
Without OptiX (MacBook, consumer laptops), these features either do not work or run 3-5x slower on CPU. The Quadro T2000 with OptiX runs them natively. WhatsApp us to unlock DaVinci's AI features.
